Finance Committee
The Finance Committee of Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) is a statutory body constituted under the provisions of the Institute’s Rules and Regulations. It is responsible for advising the Board of Management on financial policies, budget proposals, accounts, and financial administration of the Institute.

- Chairperson – Vice Chancellor, LNIPE
- One nominee of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India
- One nominee of the University Grants Commission (UGC)
- Two members nominated by the Board of Management
- Finance Officer – Member Secretary

Roles & Responsibilities
- Examine and recommend annual budget estimates of the Institute.
- Review audited financial statements and reports.
- Advise on financial planning and resource mobilization strategies.
- Recommend proposals involving major financial commitments.
- Monitor financial discipline and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Submit recommendations to the Board of Management for approval.
Meetings
The Finance Committee meets periodically to review financial matters of the Institute. The proceedings and recommendations are placed before the Board of Management for consideration and approval.
