The LNIPE Women’s Football Team delivered a remarkable performance by qualifying for the All India Inter-Varsity Football Tournament 2026 after securing Second Position in the West Zone Inter-Varsity Women’s Football Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa from 9th to 13th February 2026.

Following this success, the team advanced to the national-level competition held at Annamalai University from 20th to 25th February 2026. Competing against top universities from across the country, Team LNIPE showcased exceptional discipline, teamwork, and tactical strength.

As a result of their outstanding performance, the team successfully qualified for the Khelo India University Games 2026 and secured a place in the Top 8 Pool, advancing to the Quarterfinals.

This achievement stands as a proud moment for the institute and highlights LNIPE’s strong sporting culture, commitment to women’s empowerment, and excellence in competitive sports at the national level.
